First Winter Carnival Dress up day is Monday February 13th. Dress in Blue like the Ocean!
Our Caravel Winter Carnival is Next Friday February 17th! Please send your students with weather appropriate outside gear for that day, as well as an extra set of clothes (incase they get wet).

Monday February 13th- Dress in Blue like the Ocean!
Tuesday February 14th- Dress in Shades of Coral!
Wednesday February 15th- Dress Shiny like Mermaid Tails and Fish Scales!
Thursday February 16th- Dress in Yellow like Sunshine!
Friday February 17th- Hat Day! (NO Hoods or Ski Masks) and Winter Carnival Day!
Our "A" Boys and Girls Basketball teams play at Hampden Academy this Saturday. Girls play at 5:00 pm and boys play at 6:30 pm.
Both "A" teams as well as the sideline cheerleaders will take the bus from Caravel at 4:00 pm.
A Team Girls Basketball Shoot-Around is 7:00-8:00pm at Caravel!
Cheer Practice is at CES (sideline cheering will be at some games. Your coach will let you know which ones) 3:30pm-5:00pm

Students are being given a Permission slip to participate in the Doodle for Google in art class. They should be bringing them home today! Be on the look out!

Update on Girls Basketball Practices: Girls "B " Basketball practice will be 3:30pm-5pm at Caravel. Girls "A" Basketball practice will be 5:30pm- 7pm at Caravel.
The girls basketball game tonight has been cancelled due to a shortage of officials. The boys will still play @ Orono. Girls Basketball Grade 8 recognition will be this Thursday before the game. Practices will be updated shortly.

Girls "A" Basketball vs Orono at Caravel from 4:45pm- 6:15pm. 8th Grade Recognition will be at Caravel between the "B" and "A" games. Cheer Practice will be at Carmel Elementary School from 3:30pm- 5pm (Sideline Cheering will be at some games. Your coach will let you know)
The B2 boys team bus will leave here at 2:25 Today, Wednesday January 25th. Players need to be dropped off back at Caravel by 2:15 to take the bus to Dedham!!

The boys and girls basketball games today have been postponed due to an officials shortage. There will be practices and we will update those soon.
The A Team Boys will practice after school from 2:30-4. B-Boys will follow at 4-5:30.
Reminder- RSU 87 will have an early release day on Wednesday 1/25. Dismissal for Caravel will be at 11:30. Athletic practices and games will still take place.

The HHS Parent Council is excited to invite you to our next meeting featuring a presentation by Director of Guidance, Leslie Smith on multiple-pathways - which includes our different pathways including opportunities for students to earn college credit while in high school.
