Caravel Middle School

Letters were sent home last week and we are preparing for an exciting start to the 24-25 school year!!!! Just a reminder that Caravel has all necessary school supplies for students and that the school supply lists are there for students if they prefer their own particular items!!! See you soon!!!!

Caravel Middle School is looking for organized and motivated individuals to work with our athletes during the 2024-2025 year. We are looking for coaching candidates with an understanding of the sport, an understanding of middle level students, an ability to work positively with athletes and their parents all while encouraging and supporting our athletes to work toward their full potential with a fun and supportive program. Experience is preferred but not required. CHRC is required. If you coached for us in the past, please know that we our current practice is to hire each year so please reapply. Summer Basketball Opportunity

Attention NEW parents/guardians of Caravel students in school year 2024-2025 - Parent Information Night is June 4th at 6pm! This is an opportunity for next years fifth graders coming from Carmel and 6th graders coming from Levant to hear some key points about going to Caravel and to see the school. We hope to see you there!

Our last dance is Friday, May 31 from 6:00-8:00 Dance tickets will only be on sale this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Students MUST buy tickets in advance. Tickets are $5 each.

Concert Reminder- Thursday, May 2 Caravel Band and Chorus Concert 6th Grade Band, 7th-8th Grade Band 5th-6th Chorus and 7th- 8th Grade Chorus ***art work will be posted as well Students need to be at the school by 6:15. Doors open at 6:00 and the concert starts at 6:30. (Performers should be dressed in Caravel Music shirts with black on bottom) Volunteer Training will be offered following the concert on Thursday. This is for anyone who has not been trained at Caravel. This is great for the band and chorus field trip that is coming up- we will need chaperones! If you are interested, we’re looking for 15 chaperones, please email rhesseltine@rsu87.org if you’re interested?

We will be holding a 50/50 raffle to support the music program tomorrow night at the concert. 8th Grade will also be selling chocolate bars!!! We look forward to seeing you there!!!
