Yesterday our GT Art kids took a field trip to the Botanical Gardens in Boothbay! They had a lot of fun searching the grounds for the trolls and learning about Wabanaki sacred trees and culture!
Reminder: Our concert is on Tuesday the 27th! Doors open 15 minutes before the show, so for K-2 doors open at 4:45pm and 3-5 doors open at 5:45!
Reminder: Our district art show is tonight at Caravel from 6-7pm!
Our Buddy Benches have arrived and are ready for students to use today at recess! There is one located on our Pre-k playground as well as our main playground. Our 5th grade student leaders helped teach our students this week about how to use the benches and the importance of kindness and inclusion. We are very grateful for the generosity of the Ballanger family who built these beautiful benches.

Pre-K registration is open! Call the office to speak with Mrs. Barker about registering your Pre-K student for the 2025-2026 school year. If you have a Kindergartener that will be starting at SES in the fall, you can also speak to Mrs. Barker about registering them!
Our spring concerts are on May 27th! The K-2 concert starts at 5pm and the 3-5 concert starts at 6pm.
On the 20th, the art show is open for families to come in between 6-7pm at Caravel!
Happy School Principals' Day to Mrs. McGovern! We are so grateful to have such a supportive, caring, and helpful leader in our school! Our staff and students showed their appreciation by giving Mrs. McGovern some gifts and a binder filled with student art and letters to thank her for all she does!
