May menus are here!

Each year, SES third graders spend several weeks studying all about Maine — from history to geography and culture. Their study concludes with a celebratory Maine taste-testing lunch coordinated by Mr. Pace. This year, SES third grade invited Carmel Elementary's third graders to join the fun. They taste-tested B&M baked beans, Fox Chips, Pineland Dairy cheese, Gifford's ice cream, Maine blueberries, maple syrup, maple candy, red hot dogs in the top-cut rolls Maine is famous for, Maine-made smile fries, Moxie, whoopie pies, and Poland Spring water!

The last day of school this year is June 12, 2026. It will be an early release day.

April 30th, was National Dog Therapy Day! We celebrated this special day with our incredible therapy dog team—Anna Phillips, Ellie, and Aubrey! Your kindness, comfort, and steady presence make such a meaningful difference in our school each week. Whether it’s a wagging tail, a quiet moment of support, or a smile when it’s needed most, you help create a positive and caring environment for all.
We are so grateful for all that you do! 💙🐶.

Our 5th grade student leaders have been hard at work making a positive impact throughout our school! From confidently leading our school-wide PRIDE assemblies to helping clean, organize, and refresh our recess toy shed, their dedication truly shines.
Thanks to generous donations from Levant PAWS, our students now have new toys to enjoy during recess—and our student leaders played a big role in getting everything ready for their peers.
We are incredibly proud of their leadership, teamwork, and commitment to making our school a better place. Thank you to our amazing student leaders and to The Levant PAWS for your continued support. You help make our school such a wonderful place to be!
