Good Morning! Today (Monday January 30th) we will be having: D & D Club after school from 2:30pm to 4pm. Boys "B" Basketball vs Orono at Orono from 3:30pm- 4:45 pm. Boys "A" Basketball vs Orono at Orono from 4:45pm -6:15pm. Chess Match at Orono from 3:30pm to 5pm. Girls "B" Basketball vs Orono at Caravel from 3:30pm- 4:45pm. Girls "A" Basketball vs Orono at Caravel from 4:45pm- 6:15pm. 8th Grade Recognition will be at Caravel between the "B" and "A" games. Cheer Practice will be at Carmel Elementary School from 3:30pm- 5pm (Sideline Cheering will be at some games. Your coach will let you know)

The B2 boys team bus will leave here at 2:25 Today, Wednesday January 25th. Players need to be dropped off back at Caravel by 2:15 to take the bus to Dedham!!

Reminder to all parents, Today Wednesday January 25th is an early release day.

The boys and girls basketball games today have been postponed due to an officials shortage. There will be practices and we will update those soon. The A Team Boys will practice after school from 2:30-4. B-Boys will follow at 4-5:30.

Reminder- RSU 87 will have an early release day on Wednesday 1/25. Dismissal for Caravel will be at 11:30. Athletic practices and games will still take place. 8th Grade Reminder for TONIGHT January 17th, 2023: The HHS Parent Council is excited to invite you to our next meeting featuring a presentation by Director of Guidance, Leslie Smith on multiple-pathways - which includes our different pathways including opportunities for students to earn college credit while in high school. Parents! Just a reminder that we have our winter NWEA's this week! Our first one is tomorrow Tuesday January 9th from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. These are somethings you can do to support your student: Please help your student to get an ample amount of rest in the evenings and to eat a healthy breakfast. Remind them to strive to take their time and to remember that this is about their own growth and how they can do better each and every day.

Attention Parents and Guardians of 8th Graders! Mark your calendars for March 8th! On March 8th, 8th grade students will be traveling from CMS up to HHS during the school day from 9am - 11am for a Step Up Day event! (More information will come home as the day gets closer!) Then, that same evening, there is an informational event for Parents and Students at HHS from 6pm - 8pm with tours starting at 6pm! See the attached flyer below for more information!

This is our Athletic Schedule for the week of January 9th- 13th! Games are subject to change due to weather and the availability of Officials for the game. We apologize as we know that this does make things difficult on our families. We have an extreme shortage of officials in our area and there are many schools that pull from that small pool.

Good evening, I'm reaching out tonight to let you know that we had an unexpected septic issue at Caravel Middle School this afternoon. As of this evening, we have remedied the situation, but I am cancelling school tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 21st, for the middle school only. We will take the day to do a thorough cleaning to get it back to the standards required for a safe and healthy learning environment for staff and students. Our plan is that school will be back in session on Thursday, December 22nd. Please have students check their email and online portals tomorrow for remote work expectations. Thank you, Mr. Turner
